Lend a Hand: Relief Resources for Kerr County and Camp Mystic

We are absolutely heartbroken by the tragedy that has occurred in Central Texas over the 4th of July weekend. We are holding the victims, their families, and the community in our thoughts and prayers. If you are looking for ways to support those affected, below are verified links to help relief and recovery efforts.

Here are six verified donation sites and a quick overview of what your donations will be going towards for each link:

Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country: Kerr County Relief Fund: support local response, relief, and recovery efforts. Directs donations to vetted organizations providing flood assistance, and supports the communities of Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort. 

Texas Search & Rescue (TEXSAR): Supports search, rescue, and recovery efforts.

Verified GoFund Me Pages: Takes you to a list of vetted fundraisers related to the flooding over July 4th each supporting various causes. 

Kerrville Pets Alive!: donations help reunite lost pets with their families, pay for needed medical attention, support care for animals while looking for a new home. 

The Salvation Army: delivering essential services like meals, hydration, clothing, blankets, and emotional/spiritual care. 

The American Red Cross: Serving South and Central Texas, has opened shelters in affected areas.
